Tyler Reddick, who held a 129-point advantage in the championship prior to Memorial Day Weekend in May, now finds himself 44 points behind Denny Hamlin in the 2026 NASCAR Cup standings.
Reddick’s lead ended last week, and despite a strong performance at Chicagoland, he suffered a setback when a debris fragment pierced his radiator, forcing him 30 laps behind after repairs.
Chase Briscoe emerged as the top gainer, climbing three positions from 11th to eighth in the championship. Conversely, four drivers lost two spots, with Daniel Suarez dropping from ninth to 11th—the highest-ranked among those losing ground. Ryan Preece also fell two places, moving from 15th to 17th, just outside the cutline.
Erik Jones secured his position above the cutline, now sitting four points ahead of Preece. Joey Logano and AJ Allmendinger trail with 16 points behind the leader, while Brad Keselowski, ranked 20th, remains just 19 points from the top despite his lower standing.
Note: Kyle Busch accumulated 217 points before his untimely passing, and NASCAR has since discontinued classifying him in weekly driver standings.
