France Exits Burkina Faso After Four Years of Deteriorating Diplomatic Relations

France has announced the immediate withdrawal of all its diplomatic personnel from Burkina Faso, the foreign ministry confirmed, following the military‑led government’s decision to sever diplomatic relations with its former colonial ruler.
