According to Hull, surveillance video captured Robinson’s vehicle entering a campus parking garage, where a man dressed in a maroon shirt, Converse sneakers, and grey or olive shorts was observed walking across the grounds.
Later, the same individual was spotted returning to campus, purchasing food from Chick-fil-A, and proceeding into a wooded area adjacent to the university, as reported by Hull.
Approximately 90 minutes before the shooting, he re‑entered the campus wearing different attire and reportedly walking with a limp, the witness testified.
Subsequent footage depicted the suspect approaching the Losee Building on campus and scaling a railing onto the rooftop.
Shortly after the fatal shot was fired, the same man was captured on video sprinting across the roof, dropping down with an unidentified object in his hands, and fleeing the campus, Hull testified.
A rifle was later recovered in the wooded area believed to be where Mr. Robinson entered, Hull told the court.
The agent further noted that, in the early hours of September 11 — while a manhunt for Kirk’s killer was ongoing — an officer stationed near the campus contacted Robinson and recorded his license plate.
