Manchester United Accelerate Pursuit of Real Madrid’s Tchouaméni

Manchester United have reportedly intensified efforts to secure the signature of Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni during this summer’s transfer window.

The Red Devils have already reached verbal agreements with Ederson and Andrey Santos to reinforce their midfield unit. The club is now targeting a marquee acquisition, and reports indicate a contract offer has been tabled to persuade Tchouaméni to move to Old Trafford.

The proposal is described as “very good”, but at present the Frenchman has not been convinced to contemplate leaving Madrid. Although deals for Ederson and Santos are in place, Tchouaméni would almost certainly command a starting berth were he to join.

The 26-year-old appears reluctant to depart the Spanish capital currently, though his position could evolve in the later stages of the window. With Real Madrid eager to recruit a creative central midfielder, Tchouaméni is among the players who could be sold to generate funds.

New United manager José Mourinho may not stand in the way of the midfielder’s departure if an agreement is reached.
