PTI General Secretary Salman Akram Raja informed Dawn that the planned movement will encompass public rallies, demonstrations, and a long march. He noted that consultations with Mehmood Khan Achakzai and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas are planned to finalize the specific protest activities and schedules.
During a press conference, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan highlighted discussions regarding the health of both the former Prime Minister and his spouse, Bushra Bibi. He emphasized that the nationwide rallies are intended to mark the three-year anniversary of the party founder’s imprisonment.

The PTI leader asserted that Imran Khan has been denied judicial justice and demanded an end to the perceived oppression and injustice within the country.
Standing Committees
In a separate development, the PTI has dismissed media reports suggesting the party intends to end its boycott of parliamentary standing committees. Malik Amir, PTI Chief Whip in the National Assembly, clarified that the decision to boycott remains in effect and that the party will maintain its principled stance.
He refuted claims that the National Assembly Secretariat had received notice of any intent to lift the boycott, labeling such reports as inaccurate. Amir noted that the boycott was instituted following instructions from Imran Khan and clarified that any change in this policy would require direct consultation with the party’s founder.
Meeting with Imran
Furthermore, PTI lawyer Advocate Awais Younas Chaudhry has submitted a list of six leaders to the Adiala jail administration to request a meeting with Imran Khan today. The individuals listed for the meeting include Haji Amanullah Awan, Muhammad Shahid Ali Chahan, Syed Hamid Ihsan, Sajjad Ali Butt, Noman Mughal, and Aqsa Hayyat Lali.
