Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al‑Zaidi denounced a recent intrusion of unidentified drones into Erbil’s airspace in the northern Kurdistan region, according to a statement released by his office on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said he had instructed relevant security agencies, in close coordination with local security forces, to take all necessary measures to prevent future incidents and to thwart anyone seeking to endanger the safety of “our noble Iraqi society.” He did not disclose the source of the drone attacks.
