Former England captain and manager Kevin Keegan died at 75, seven weeks after announcing his stage‑four cancer diagnosis.
Regarded as one of English football’s most decorated players, Keegan had notable spells with Scunthorpe United, Liverpool, Hamburg, Southampton and Newcastle throughout his distinguished playing career.
After retiring, he embarked on a successful managerial career with Newcastle, Fulham, the England national team, and Manchester City.
