The Tulsa Oilers, ECHL affiliates of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks and the AHL’s San Diego Gulls, announced the re-signing of veteran forward Tyler Poulsen for the 2026-27 season.
Poulsen, 33, returns to the Oilers’ roster after compiling 143 points (63 goals, 80 assists) over 240 games spanning five seasons in Tulsa.
The Arvada, Colorado native established career highs in goals, points, assists, and penalty minutes during his tenure, eclipsing the 40-point mark twice. He turned professional with the Allen Americans in 2018-19 and has since totaled 208 points (98 goals, 110 assists) in 380 ECHL games split among Allen, Rapid City, Worcester, and Tulsa.
Prior to his pro career, Poulsen played three seasons at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, recording 38 points (15 goals, 23 assists) in 88 games and leading the team with 17 assists during the 2017-18 campaign.
