In retirement, Snitker continues to serve as a visible ambassador for the franchise. His recent appearance at President Donald Trump’s Cobb County rally highlighted his ongoing connection to the organization, drawing significant media attention through a notable announcement.
During the event, Snitker presented Donald Trump with a 2025 Fourth of July anniversary jersey worn by the Braves, accompanied by a formal promise. As reported by WXIA News, Snitker stated to the president: “Mike [Plant] and I will return to Washington D.C. approximately one year from now to present another world championship jersey.” This commitment underscores Snitker’s belief in the team’s future despite roster changes since their last title run.
Snitker emphasized unity with Trump by characterizing the rally attendees as reflective of Braves Country. “As you can see, Braves Country is a real thing,” he remarked, reinforcing his optimistic outlook for the franchise under current management. While Walt Weiss now leads the organization, Snitker’s remarks suggest confidence in the team’s potential to return to championship contention.
