Singer‑songwriter Stella Lefty is having the best week of her rising musical career. The pop‑and‑country artist broke out earlier this year with “Boston,” which has quickly turned her into one of 2026’s most exciting new hitmakers.
This week the track pushes to new peaks on several Billboard rankings. Lefty climbs to career highs and almost notches her first No. 1 on both the Streaming Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts, but a rival hit keeps her from the top.
Stella Lefty Nearly Scores Two No. 1 Hits
“Boston” reaches No. 2 on both the Streaming Songs and Country Streaming Songs charts, moving up from No. 5 and No. 4 respectively. That is the highest position Lefty has ever achieved on either list, and it marks her first entry in the top 10 for both charts.
The Streaming Songs chart aggregates plays from services such as Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal across all genres in the United States. The Country Streaming Songs chart uses the same data but restricts eligibility to songs classified as country.
Ella Langley Blocks Stella Lefty From Her First Champions
Despite its strong streaming numbers, “Boston” has not yet claimed the top spot on either tally. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” remains at No. 1 on both streaming charts and holds several additional Billboard rankings, making it the dominant hit of 2026.
“Choosin’ Texas” Makes History with Another No. 1
“Choosin’ Texas” has now spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart, the fifth‑longest run in the history of the ranking. It surpasses the 14‑week streaks posted by Desiigner’s “Panda” and Post Malone/21 Savage’s “Rockstar.” One more week at the top would tie the record held by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s “Despacito,” which logged 16 weeks in 2017.
On the Country Streaming Songs chart, the song has an even longer reign, spending 39 weeks on the list with 28 weeks at No. 1. It first reached the summit in January and has maintained its position ever since.
Stella Lefty Reaches the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 10
“Boston” also climbs to new highs on four additional Billboard charts. It jumps from No. 12 to No. 6 on the Hot 100, delivering Lefty’s first top‑10 entry on America’s premier songs ranking.

The track moves from No. 12 to No. 11 on the Country Airplay chart, one rung shy of breaking into the top 10. Radio plays broaden beyond country stations, propelling the song to No. 25 on the all‑format Radio Songs chart, another career best.
Stella Lefty Reaches One Billboard Chart for the First Time
“Boston” also rises to No. 23 on the Billboard Global 200, reflecting worldwide streaming and sales. Simultaneously, Lefty appears on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for the first time, debuting at No. 160, indicating growing international interest.
Stella Lefty Scores Two Other Streaming Hits
While “Boston” competes for streaming dominance, Lefty’s duet “Something to Lose” with Vincent Mason makes its own impact. The collaboration enters the Streaming Songs chart at No. 40 and lands at No. 11 on the Country Streaming Songs chart, just one position away from the top 10. It also moves into four Billboard rankings overall, climbing more than 20 spots to No. 45 on the Hot 100 and improving to No. 11 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
