Berlin police halted the city’s LGBTQ+ pride parade on Saturday, just hours after it began, citing multiple injuries among participants.
Authorities urged attendees to vacate the area immediately via a post on X, initially offering few details beyond the deployment of significant police resources. They did not specify the number of people injured.
Shortly after, police reported that a vehicle had driven into Tiergarten park, near the parade route, striking several people.
