Israel’s upcoming government has announced that Qatar will be designated an enemy state, according to former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, who spoke at the National Security Conference (INSS) on Monday.
Bennett described Qatar as a violent, anti‑semitic malignancy that spreads its influence to the West and even to Israel’s prime minister’s office, intending to undermine the State of Israel.
He noted that Qatar finances Islamist terrorism, especially Hamas, whose members are responsible for the blood of numerous Israelis murdered, raped, burned, and abducted during the October 7 massacre.
Bennett added that Qatar has created a global influence operation aimed at eradicating Israel, and it operates and funds Al Jazeera, which has been banned in Israel for inciting hatred against the state.
Bennett affirmed that if a basic inquiry into the October 7 events had been established, it would have concluded that Qatar is an enemy state whose leaders seek to eliminate Israel.
