Como are preparing an approach to land Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Manchester United currently relies on strikers Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee, though Zirkzee is anticipated to depart in the upcoming transfer window.
The Dutch forward has attracted significant interest from Serie A powerhouse Juventus, and Como have now entered the competition for his signature.
United value Zirkzee at approximately £34 million but remain open to a loan arrangement with a conditional purchase clause.
While no formal bids have been submitted by either club, Juventus are reportedly close to finalizing terms with the 25-year-old.
Zirkzee’s tenure at United has been underwhelming, having scored only five league goals in nearly 60 appearances.
Unable to secure a regular starting position, he is expected to seek a new club offering guaranteed game time.
