Laredo Kid expressed hope that he and La Hiedra would defend the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship on WWE TV. The two won the titles from Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana at AAA Verano de Escándalo, just a couple months after his AAA World Cruiserweight Title reign came to an end.
Laredo Kid spoke with SOTO619 for a new interview, discussing the title win and his match against Trick Williams at Saturday Night’s Main Event in July. The highlights below:

“Yeah, yeah. And I feel so good. I [didn’t] believe when they call me for this match. It’s in the biggest event, like Madison Square Garden. And then [against] US Champion Trick Williams — two great things for me. Now I feel that I deserve it, because I work a lot in this business. And now I’m the [AAA Mixed Tag Team] Champion. And I feel very, very good and proud for myself.”
