CM Punk Explains the Message Behind One of His Most Meaningful Tattoos
In an interview with WWE’s Tattooed series, CM Punk discussed one of his most personal tattoos—a diamond with stars and the number 31 located behind his ear. He described it as the most painful tattoo he’s ever received but emphasized its deep significance.
“The one behind my ear, which technically is on my skull, was next level [painful]. But it’s small enough that I thought, I can handle this. The top three most meaningful tattoos I have are near and dear to me. It represents my family. Each sibling has a color, and the family number is 31. That number started as my dad’s jersey number, which everyone adopted. My younger sisters played softball and soccer, and they were so moved they got the same tattoo. We all have it, just in different locations,” Punk explained.
