Sanofi, one of Massachusetts’ largest pharmaceutical employers, will cut 229 jobs, according to state filings.
The affected workers were employed by Blueprint Medicines, a Cambridge biotech acquired by Sanofi in a $9.1 billion deal in July 2025.
The reductions are slated for between Oct. 9 and late June 2027, per the filing with the state’s Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
