Tickets for the events at the 70,000‑seat Gazprom Arena went on sale Monday and sold out within hours. Prices ranged from 9,000 roubles (£78) to 160,000 roubles (£1,394).
West’s tour comes as he seeks to rebuild his public image following a series of antisemitic and pro‑Nazi remarks. He issued an apology in January, attributing his statements to a brain injury and bipolar disorder.
The planned European summer tour faced disruptions, with several venues canceling shows amid backlash over the artist’s statements.
In the United Kingdom, the Wireless Festival was canceled after West, who was slated to headline all three nights, was denied entry. The Home Office argued that his presence would not be “conducive to the public good.”
Other concerts across France, Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic were also called off, while dates in Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Turkey and Albania proceeded as scheduled.
