At the start of the week, President Donald Trump warned that he would bomb Oman, a U.S. ally that has been serving as a mediator to end the war against Iran.
The following day, Trump shared a map highlighting the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding territories in Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Iran, designating the region as “NEW U.S. Territory.”
