Baleba to Man Utd almost done
Manchester United have reached an agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign midfielder Carlos Baleba, according to The Athletic.
The Red Devils have already recruited Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos to strengthen the njegov showing and are now positioned to secure another addition to the midfield.
The Athletic reports that United have agreed on a package worth £65 million, with the potential for an additional £5 million in add‑ons, for the Cameroon international.
Baleba has been cleared to undergo his medical, and the transfer could be formally announced by the Red Devils before the week ends.
The player endured a challenging 2025/26 season with the Seagulls, regularly named on the substitutes’ bench after the New Year. Speculation about his whereabouts appeared to dampen his performances, but United remain confident he will thrive once recovered from an ankle injury.
Baleba is currently sidelined with a pre‑season setback and may be out of action for a minimum of three weeks.
