A fan attending a recent Calvin Harris concert went viral after being struck by a pizza while recording the performance on her phone.
The Scottish DJ performed at Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast on Saturday, August 22. A clip shared by Instagram user @bodyfitmums shows a pizza sailing through the air in slow motion before hitting the fan as she filmed the show.
She said, “Nothing like getting hit with pizza at Calvin’s show,” adding, “I’m not joking—I was covered from the chest down. If it had hit my face, I’d have been a mess, but I kept dancing. #dedicatedtothedj”
She thanked everyone who helped clean up, including strangers, and called it a memorable night.
Earlier this month, Harris invited Kasabian’s Serge Pizzorno to join him for two homecoming shows at Hampden Park, where they performed their collaboration ‘Release The Pressure’.
When the track was released in February, Pizzorno told NME how the partnership formed: “Calvin and I have been in each other’s circles for about two decades. I first saw him perform at Lollapalooza in South America and was blown away. After reconnecting and exchanging numbers, we decided it was finally time to hit the studio together.”
He added, “We sent the track to Calvin, and two weeks later I got a message saying, ‘Banger incoming. Hotel vibes.’ When I played it, I was blown away.”
The Glasgow homecoming shows, featuring Pizzorno alongside Harris, drew a combined audience of 100,000 fans over two consecutive nights on August 1 and 2.
To celebrate those milestone shows, Harris released a limited‑edition ‘rave haggis’ ahead of the performances.
He announced the product on Instagram last month, saying, ‘Absolutely buzzing to announce my own HAGGIS to celebrate my two Scotland shows this weekend!’ and noted that fans could purchase the haggis at the venue or through his online store.
