Chelsea’s bid for Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott has encountered a significant setback, with the Cherries reportedly turning down three separate offers from the Blues this summer.

The 23-year-old England international has emerged as a key transfer target for Chelsea as they evaluate their midfield options in the final week of the window.

However, Bournemouth are intent on retaining one of their standout players, even though Scott is entering the final two years of his contract and has declined to sign a new deal.
