Indie mainstay Jamie T has revealed that his upcoming studio album was meticulously crafted using a collection of voice memos recorded throughout his entire professional journey.
The new project, titled ‘Ghosts (100 Days of Morning)’, is scheduled for release on October 9 via Polydor Records. This release marks the first full-length project from the artist since 2022’s ‘The Theory of Whatever’.
Anticipation for the record has already been building following the release of the lead single, ‘3310’, and a recent intimate performance at London’s Scala where Jamie previewed several new tracks.
Sharing more insight into the project on X (formerly Twitter) on August 24, Jamie discussed the album’s aesthetic and emotional roots. He credited photographer tamp.two for the cover art, noting that they met on the seafront in Bognor Regis. Jamie expressed a deep affection for the town, stating that it represents healing and family, and that he wanted the imagery to highlight the beauty of the area often overlooked by tabloid narratives.
The artist also reflected on the psychological shift he experienced following his massive 2023 headline show at Finsbury Park. He admitted that the performance felt like the end of an era, prompting a period of introspection.
“The past can become a burden if you let it,” Jamie shared, explaining that he needed to process years of ruminations, heartbreak, and loss to move forward. He explained that the album was recorded over approximately one hundred days, utilizing voice memos from across his career to “untangle” himself from the past.

To support the release, Jamie T has announced a comprehensive UK tour for December 2026. Pre-sale tickets are available starting Wednesday, August 26, at 10am, with general sales beginning Friday, August 28, at 10am.
