Soybeans rose 11.5 to 14 cents across the board on Tuesday. The cmdtyView national cash bean price climbed 13¼ cents to $12.01. Soymeal futures were flat to up $1.10, while soy oil gained 39 to 101 points.
USDA announced a private sale of 132,000 metric tons of soybeans to undisclosed buyers earlier today.
According to NASS weekly crop progress data, 91% of the U.S. soybean crop had set pods by August 23, with 6% beginning to shed leaves. Condition ratings slipped one point to 60% good/excellent, and the Brugler500 index dropped four points to 357. Ratings in North Dakota fell 19 points, while Ohio/South Dakota declined five, Indiana three, Illinois/Minnesota/Missouri two, and Iowa one, reflecting weaker conditions in those states.
Agroconsult estimates Brazil’s soybean planted area at 49.2 million hectares (121.58 million acres), slightly above last year’s level.
September 2026 soybean futures closed at $12.28, up 12 cents.
Nearby cash was quoted at $12.01 1⁄1, up 13¼ cents.
November 2026 soybean futures settled at $12.37 ¾, up 13½ cents.
January 2027 soybean futures ended at $12.52 ¼, up 14 cents.
New‑crop cash traded at $11.80 ½, up 12½ cents.
