Abuse Allegations Against Former Fat White Family Member Saul Adamczewski Prompt Label Dismissal and Tour Cancellation

Saul Adamczewski, formerly of Fat White Family and current member of Insecure Men, has been dropped by his record label and had tour dates cancelled following abuse allegations made by two women.

One accuser recounted a brief relationship that resulted in a pregnancy, alleging that Adamczewski deliberately caused her suffering through violence, threats, and theft.

She claimed that Adamczewski exploited the relationship to fund his crack cocaine and heroin use, leaving her financially destitute.

She said she left in her third month of pregnancy to be closer to family, providing screenshots purportedly showing abusive messages from Adamczewski.

Musician Jessica Winter commented that she had witnessed physical and emotional abuse by Adamczewski against multiple people, and claimed he had threatened her to silence her.

A second woman described repeated physical assaults, including an incident in which Adamczewski forced her inside a sofa bed.

The Guardian reached out to Adamczewski’s representatives for comment; the band’s management and UK publicist have cut ties, and the Insecure Men Instagram account has been removed.

Insecure Men were signed to Fat Possum Records; the US indie label announced it would no longer work with the band in response to the accusations.

The band’s appearance at the Green Man Festival and a planned Manchester date were cancelled, as were dates at Rough Trade Liverpool and a November UK tour; no official reason was provided.

Adamczewski co‑founded The Metros in 2006 and achieved limited indie success, including a song on Gossip Girl. He co‑founded Fat White Family in 2011, later leaving before the 2024 album Forgiveness Is Yours, and was also a member of Warmduscher from 2014 to roughly 2018.
