Suryakumar Yadav, the 35-year-old former World Cup-winning captain, has made a definitive statement regarding his return to the national squad after being omitted from recent selections. Stripped of the captaincy and excluded from white-ball tours following India’s T20 World Cup triumph in 2026, which he captained to a second consecutive title, the Mumbai Indians batter is determined to prove his worth.
