Arsenal have accelerated their search for a world-class striker in the closing days of the summer transfer window, exploring bold alternative options to strengthen their attacking line ahead of the new campaign.
The North London club had long prioritized a move for Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez, but as negotiations dragged on, Arsenal briefly shifted their focus toward Real Madrid’s teenage prodigy, Endrick.
Endrick Emerges as an Ambitious Target for Arsenal

Sources have informed CaughtOffside that Arsenal officials thoroughly examined the logistics of a potential move for the 19-year-old Brazilian, aiming to place him at the core of their attacking blueprint for the 2026/27 campaign.
However, Real Madrid swiftly shut down any possibility of a transfer. The Spanish giants made it definitively clear that Endrick will remain at the Santiago Bernabéu, continuing his development under the direct guidance of manager José Mourinho. Mourinho is deeply committed to personally overseeing the striker’s progression, viewing him as a fundamental cornerstone of Madrid’s long-term future.
Multiple approaches from across Europe, encompassing both loan and permanent transfer arrangements, were rejected outright. Real Madrid and Mourinho presented a completely united front, emphatically stressing that the Brazilian prodigy is entirely untouchable and refusing to entertain any formal offers.
The player himself strongly reinforced this stance, demonstrating absolutely no desire to depart and expressing full commitment to Mourinho’s project. Endrick declined even to entertain discussions regarding personal terms or contract adjustments, underscoring his deep loyalty to the Spanish capital club.
Endrick Stays Untouchable at Real Madrid

For Real Madrid, Endrick is viewed as a ‘generational talent’ who cannot be sold under any circumstances. Their uncompromising stance has forced Arsenal to refocus their efforts on Julián Álvarez, with negotiations with Atlético Madrid still actively ongoing.
With the summer transfer window drawing to a close, Arsenal’s hopes of landing the teenage sensation have been completely extinguished, leaving Álvarez as their primary target to bolster their title ambitions.
