A.J. McKee Challenges Razhabali Shaidulloev for Double Featherweight Crowns at Super RIZIN 5

On September 10, PFL contender A.J. McKee will face RIZIN featherweight champion Razhabali Shaidulloev in a distinctive cross‑promotional main event at Super RIZIN 5, held at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Osaka, Japan.

The bout will determine the winner of both the vacant PFL featherweight title and Shaidulloev’s RIZIN featherweight championship, marking a rare occasion where two titles are on the line.

McKee, who holds a 25‑2 record, is a former Bellator featherweight champion. The 31‑year‑old, son of veteran Antonio McKee, nicknamed “Mercenary,” has gone 4‑1 in his five PFL fights since the promotion’s formation after Bellator’s dissolution in late 2023. He is undefeated (3‑0) at 145 lb, having captured wins over Akhmed Magomedov, Adam Borics, and most recently Salamat Isbulaev.

Shaidulloev, undefeated at 19‑0, has emerged as a top talent outside the UFC. The 25‑year‑old Kyrgyz‑Tajik athlete has recorded seven consecutive victories under the RIZIN banner, including four title fights against Kleber Koike Erbst, Viktor Kolesnik, Mikuru Asakura and Yuta Kubo, each ending in a first‑round knockout.

The Shaidulloev‑vs‑McKee contest will consist of three five‑minute rounds under RIZIN MMA rules, which permit stomps, soccer kicks, and grounded knees to the head.

In the co‑main event, MMA legend Shinya Aoki (49‑12, 1 NC) will chase his 50th professional win against veteran RIZIN competitor Mikuru Asakura (19‑6, 1 NC).
