A Weekend of Leisure and Connection

I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend. My cousin Jimmy is visiting, so we will be heading to a friend’s home in Connecticut to enjoy some poolside time. Here is a curated selection of observations and quotes from around the web.

There is nothing quite like the dynamics of group chats. As someone aptly observed: “Someone is having a baby. Someone’s dear friend dies. Someone cooked a meal. Someone got a new pair of shoes. Someone is watching a new show that ‘you all should really check out so I have someone else to talk about it with.’ Someone is carrying a child out of the hospital after a toy-swallowing incident, and the once terrifying story becomes at least a little bit funny in the end, if we’re lucky.”
