ADNOC confirmed that one of its vessels was targeted by a missile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, as reported by Anadolu.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, according to the United Arab Emirates’ official news agency, WAM, which cited ADNOC.
The company reported no casualties, and the situation has been resolved.
An Iranian semi-official news outlet, Fars, stated that an oil tanker allegedly linked to ADNOC caught fire in the strait’s southern corridor. Satellite monitoring data indicated an ADNOC oil-spill response and firefighting vessel, AR01, had arrived at the scene.
