All Elite Wrestling has officially announced Redemption, a new pay-per-view event scheduled for July 26 at CentreBell in Montreal, Quebec. This marks the addition of a new flagship event to AEW’s annual calendar.
The company filed a trademark application for “AEW Redemption” in April, signaling plans for a new event. The official announcement came via AEW’s social media platforms, with a post stating: “MONTREAL… As announced by the Toronto Sun, AEW is returning to Canada this Summer with a BRAND NEW PPV: #AEWRedemption! This inaugural event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 26th at the @centrebell in Montreal, Quebec.”
AEW President Tony Khan emphasized Montreal’s significance in wrestling history, telling the Toronto Sun: “Montreal’s one of the greatest wrestling cities in the world. There’s such a rich history of professional wrestling. This will be a special event. It’s the first-ever AEW Redemption, and it’s also the first-ever AEW pay-per-view in Montreal.”p>
Khan noted that Montreal has consistently delivered exceptional crowd reactions during AEW’s previous visits, calling the fans “so fantastic” during past appearances.

AEW Pay-Per-View Schedule Coming Into Focus
With ten pay-per-views planned for 2025, AEW has now confirmed two events for the summer: Forbidden Door on June 28 in San Jose, California, followed by All In on August 29 in London, England.
The newly announced Redemption event fills the gap between Forbidden Door and All In, providing additional momentum for what is currently AEW’s most prestigious event outside of WrestleMania. While All In currently features only AEW World Championship and Women’s World Championship matches, Redemption offers opportunity to build additional storylines.
At Forbidden Door, challengers for both championships will be determined through the Owen Hart Cup finals. MJF reclaimed the AEW World Championship at Double or Nothing, while Thekla retained the Women’s World Championship, meaning both titles could potentially change hands before Redemption or All In.
The summer schedule also includes WWE’s Night of Champions on June 27 and SummerSlam in August, along with Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 18.
