Speculation has swirled around AEW star Big Bill as his contract nears expiration, with reports suggesting he may be headed to WWE to reunite with Enzo Amore.

Earlier this week, Fightful Select reported that Big Bill, whose contract expires next week, has formally notified AEW of his departure.

Dave Meltzer corroborated the report in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, noting that AEW has reduced Big Bill’s television presence following the dissolution of The Learning Tree stable.

Meltzer dismissed the notion that The Learning Tree storyline hindered Bill’s momentum, asserting that the wrestler reached his peak popularity during that run. He added that AEW had been positioning him for a turn and a feud with Chris Jericho, though those plans never came to fruition. The stable was disbanded after Jericho embarked on a 12‑month hiatus in April 2025.

Regarding the possible reunion of Big Cass and Enzo Amore in WWE after eight years apart, Meltzer expressed confidence that the pair could regain traction with the WWE Universe, citing Enzo’s mic skills and Cass’s improved in‑ring performance.

In recent months, Bill has competed mainly for Ring of Honor. His latest appearance on AEW television occurred on the February 4, 2026 episode of Collision, where he took part in an eight‑man tag team parking lot brawl.
