Having sparred with both Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, Agit Kabayel says one of them can finish a bout with a single punch.
Consequently, the WBC champion is positioned to forecast the much‑anticipated encounter, scheduled for Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11.
Before the fight, Fury is widely regarded as a strong favorite, bolstered by point victories and stoppages over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach.
Although neither performance was especially dazzling, Fury faced little danger, while Joshua was nearly stopped by Kristian Prenga in July.
In the opening round, Prenga knocked down Joshua twice and nearly derailed the Fury bout, but ‘AJ’ recovered within three minutes.
Thus, the 36‑year‑old revealed significant vulnerability yet retained knockout power, making him a perilous underdog against the 38‑year‑old Fury.
Speaking to Ring Magazine, Kabayel acknowledged Joshua’s dangerous right hand but emphasized that Fury’s technical skill will ultimately prevail.
“The better boxing IQ [is with Fury], but only one guy [Joshua] in the heavyweight division can beat guys with one hand.
“This is a very interesting fight for the fans but, when I give prediction for the fight, I think Fury will win the fight [on] points or [by] KO. But we will see.”
Additionally, Kabayel is keen to meet the victor of the Fury‑Joshua bout in a potential unification bout, as the two British heavyweights are slated to contest the WBA ‘super’ title.
