After his WWE career concluded with a match against GUNTHER at the Royal Rumble, AJ Styles has fully retired from in‑ring competition. He officially stepped away in January, and later announced he would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, with his longtime friends The Good Brothers handling the ceremony.
During his Hall of Fame induction speech, Styles shared that he no longer misses wrestling and now enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children—something he previously missed due to the travel demands of his wrestling schedule.
This focus on family led him to explore a new path. In a recent episode of his “The Phenomenally Retro” podcast, Styles revealed that he has been ordained and will soon begin officiating weddings.
He described the upcoming experience, noting that a close college friend’s daughter is among those he will marry first. “I can marry people now… I’m going to be the guy,” he said, adding that he plans to review instructional videos to ensure his vows are precise.
“I don’t know how many people will be there, but I’m sure it’s not 10,000. I’ve been able to speak in front of that many people before, so I think it’ll be okay,” he continued.
