Alex Lahey Unveils ‘Garage Sale [Vol. 1]’ EP Featuring Five Unreleased Tracks

Following her 2023 album The Answer Is Always Yes and its subsequent deluxe reissue, Australian singer-songwriter Alex Lahey has surprise-released a new EP titled Garage Sale [Vol. 1]. The collection arrives after a period of collaborations, including a notable joint effort with Tegan and Sara.

Lahey described the project on Bandcamp as a home for material that previously lacked an official outlet. “I write so many songs that never get heard,” she wrote. “Sometimes for better, sometimes for worse. Here are a collection of songs that I love dearly, but never got to have their time. I’m glad you get to hear them now.”

The five-track set comprises “Room At The Top,” “A Girl Named Sloane,” “Should’ve Called It Quits,” “One Thing Leads To Another,” and “ILOVEYOU.” The EP is currently available exclusively via Bandcamp.
