AEW delivered a series of standout moments at Forbidden Door, positioning the company for a strong All In showdown.

Will Ospreay is poised to become the first English wrestler to capture a major world championship on British soil, while Mercedes Mone seeks redemption by winning the AEW Women’s World Championship—her first title—as the Owen Hart Foundation tournament winners.

The event’s AEW-heavy card featured several “match of the year” contenders, though the show occasionally suffered from slower segments designed to highlight talent from New Japan, Stardom and CMLL, stretching the broadcast to nearly five hours at the SAP Center in San Jose.

Despite these pacing challenges, AEW’s core strengths shone through, suggesting the momentum will keep fans invested as the company heads toward All In.
