Allied Joint Medical Support Doctrine Updated to AJP-4.2 Standard

The Allied Joint Doctrine for Medical Support (AJP-4.2) was originally published on 28 July 2015 and has undergone several updates to maintain current operational standards.

The most recent revision occurred on 22 July 2026, which included updated doctrine and a formal name change to AJP-4.2.

Previous updates include:

• 28 September 2020: Updated Allied Joint Doctrine for medical support (AJP-4.10) with the latest version.
• 24 October 2019: Added the updated AJP-4.10, Allied Joint Doctrine for Medical Support (Edition C) document.
• 19 March 2018: Updated page title and link text to better reflect document contents.
• 28 August 2015: Replaced with new version of AJP 4.10
• 19 August 2015: Updated document to the latest version.

This living document continues to evolve to ensure standardized medical support procedures across allied joint operations.
