• Swiss-regulated Amina Bank has partnered with Mesh to expand the capabilities and connectivity of its stablecoin network across over 300 providers.

Amina Bank, formerly Seba Bank and regulated in Switzerland, is broadening its presence in the stablecoin and digital‑asset ecosystem through a strategic partnership. On Thursday, the bank disclosed its integration with Mesh, a prominent crypto‑payments network.

Mesh Integration Enhances Capabilities

The partnership enables Amina’s clients to verify wallet ownership more efficiently and provides unified, streamlined flows for stablecoin and digital asset deposits.

Streamlining Wallet Verification and Stablecoin Deposits

Amina’s Chief Product Officer, Miles Harrison, noted that while crypto adoption has grown, many processes remain cumbersome, especially when moving assets between platforms and regulated institutions.

Typically, depositing funds requires rigorous wallet‑signing steps on external services and multi‑stage manual procedures. The Mesh integration simplifies this to a few clicks: users verify their wallet provider and ownership, then proceed with deposits without additional hurdles.

Phased Rollout Strategy for Amina Bank

Initially, the integration supports only deposits. Subsequent phases will focus on automating wallet verification during client onboarding. Future stages aim to extend functionality to withdrawals and payouts, building infrastructure that enables stablecoins and digital assets to move at scale.

Global Expansion of Stablecoin Adoption

According to a Bessemer Venture Partners study, real‑world stablecoin payments doubled in 2025 to $400 billion, with roughly 60 % of the volume driven by business‑to‑business transactions. The report predicts continued growth as stablecoins become the foundation of a new global money layer.

Bitwise’s Q2 analysis reinforces this outlook, noting that despite a bearish crypto market, stablecoins are poised for expansion as they connect traditional finance and crypto, riding a wave of Wall Street adoption.
