Amy Winehouse’s seminal album Back to Black will be reissued on October 23 for its 20th anniversary, adding four unreleased demos, additional tracks from a deluxe edition, several B‑sides, and a complete live album captured at Amsterdam’s Paradiso on 8 February 2007.
Mark Ronson, one of the album’s two producers, remarked in a press release that it was surprising that six songs recorded during a burst of creative excitement could resonate so profoundly with listeners two decades later.
Salaam Remi, the other producer, praised Winehouse, describing her as a singular artist whose talent, passion, humor, honesty, and love for her work was a true gift.
The reissue will be released through UMR/Island in 3‑LP and 3‑CD formats, each accompanied by alternative cover artwork.
