AND2BLE Sets New Records With Massive 731,000-Selling Debut EP

Featuring several of K-pop’s most prominent young stars, AND2BLE has made a thunderous entry into the industry, establishing themselves as one of 2026’s most significant breakout acts.

Data from Hanteo, South Korea’s real-time album sales chart, reveals that the five-member boy band under YH Entertainment sold 731,673 physical copies of their debut EP, Sequence 01: Curiosity, within its first week. This impressive figure ranks among the top 15 biggest sales weeks of the year for any K-pop artist, regardless of their tenure, immediately marking the group as a major commercial power.

While technically rookies, the members are seasoned performers. All five are alumni of the hit 2023 survival series Boys Planet. Members Zhang Hao, Kim Gyuvin, Han Yujin, and Ricky were part of the show’s Top 9, debuting as members of the chart-topping group ZEROBASEONE. Yoo Seungeon, who placed 16th on the show, previously debuted with the fellow Boys Planet ensemble EVNNE before departing the group late last year. All five members are managed by YH Entertainment, the Korean branch of the China-based agency that originally cast them for the survival show.

When compared to their rookie peers, AND2BLE’s performance is particularly striking. Their first-week sales are the second-highest among all new K-pop groups in 2026. They trail only ALPHA DRIVE ONE—the winners of Boys Planet Season 2—whose debut album EUPHORIA set a high bar, continuing the trend of success established by ZEROBASEONE and EVNNE.

The Boys Planet franchise continues to be a powerhouse for launching successful careers, as six of the ten highest-selling rookie acts of 2026 feature members from the series.

Historically, AND2BLE’s debut is one of the strongest in the industry’s history. They have secured the fourth-highest first-week sales for any K-pop debut album since Hanteo began recording data in the 1990s, placing them behind only ZEROBASEONE, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, and SM Entertainment’s RIIZE.

The momentum began with a dominant opening day, where Sequence 01: Curiosity sold 157,216 copies, ranking among the 30 biggest first-day sales of 2026.

The five-track EP introduces the group’s narrative through the lens of curiosity. The lead single, “Curious,” is an energetic EDM track that blends synth-pop and future house with anthemic percussion, appealing to both modern global listeners and fans of classic K-pop. The track, which encourages embracing change, was co-written by Zhang Hao and Ricky and produced by a world-class team including Grammy-winners The Stereotypes (Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber), songwriter August Rigo (BTS), and creative Kosmic (GOT7’s Yugyeom).

The group’s creative involvement extends throughout the EP. Ricky co-wrote the retro dance track “Aura,” while Zhang Hao and Kim Gyuvin collaborated on the electro-R&B closer “Happy&.” Additionally, The Stereotypes and Kosmic contributed to the high-energy “Sugar Rush” and the emotional mid-tempo track “Bed.”

Pronounced “And Double,” AND2BLE consists of Zhang Hao, Yoo Seungeon, Kim Gyuvin, Ricky, and Han Yu-jin. Debuting on May 26, 2026, the group’s name is a combination of “and” and “double,” symbolizing the expansion of one’s identity through overlapping layers rather than a single, static image.

The group is managed by YH Entertainment (formerly Yuehua Entertainment) with distribution handled by Kakao Entertainment. Following their current promotions in Korea, the group is expected to release a follow-up project—likely titled Sequence 02—exploring a new emotional theme.

The group is also preparing for their first concert tour, “Welcome to Qurious,” which will span Asia this summer. The tour kicks off with a three-night residency at Seoul’s Jamsil Indoor Stadium from June 19-21, followed by shows at K-Arena Yokohama (June 30-July 2) and Glion Arena Kobe (July 11-12). The tour will then move to the Venetian Arena in Macau on July 25-26.
