Another title change took place on tonight’s WWE SmackDown show following the MFTs’ WWE Tag Team Championship victory.

Three championship matches were announced for tonight’s WWE SmackDown show in Boston, and we have now seen two new champions crowned.

Earlier in the night, we saw the MFTs capture the WWE Tag Team Championship from R-Truth & Damian Priest and the War Raiders in a three-way tag team match.

Following that match, a Women’s United States Championship match took place, with Tiffany Stratton defending her title against Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence.

Jacy Jayne Wins Womens US Championship

Earlier in the show, Tiffany Stratton made her way out to the ring to help Chelsea Green after Chelsea had been jumped by Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

This led to Nia and Lash attacking Tiffany, with Tiffany going into her match with Jacy with injured ribs after the assault.

Chelsea made her way to ringside for the match, cheering on Tiffany, which ultimately ended up distracting her, allowing Jacy to pick up the win and capture her first title on the WWE main roster.

With Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley reigning as Womens Tag Team Champions, Fatal Influence are now all champions at the same time on the SmackDown brand just four months after their call up following WrestleMania 42.

In the third title match on the show, Baron Corbin defeated Carmelo Hayes to retain the United States Championship.

Tiffany Stratton’s Return To Villainy

After losing the Womens US Championship, it seems as though fans may finally get back seeing what is arguably the best and most popular version of her character.

Tiffany rose to fame as a heel during her run in NXT and early into her WWE main roster run, before she turned face after cashing in her Money In The Bank on Nia Jax to kick off 2025 on SmackDown after a year of strong crowd reactions.

Now, Tiffany is no longer as white hot as she was last year, with her now playing second fiddle to Interim WWE Womens Champion Chelsea Green in a partnership that seems destined to go the way all WWE partnerships go.

With Tiffany now titleless, the next step for her is to return to her villainous ways, potentially even taking Chelsea’s WWE Womens Championship from her when the time comes.
