Anthony Elanga’s Lightning Counter Gives Newcastle Early Lead Over Liverpool

Anthony Elanga put Newcastle ahead of Liverpool with a quick break after a defensive lapse.

The opening goal came from a rapid counter‑attack that emerged directly from Liverpool’s offensive move.

A hurried defensive clearance inside Newcastle’s penalty area instantly turned into a blistering counter.

William Osula pounced on the clearance, drove forward with power, and played a precise through‑ball to Elanga.
