Aprilia Racing reports a successful surgical repair of Marco Bezzecchi’s collarbone.
Following his Q2 crash, Marco Bezzecchi of Aprilia Racing traveled to Italy on Saturday to undergo surgery aimed at mending his fractured collarbone, which has rendered him unavailable for the remainder of the German Grand Prix.
On Sunday, Aprilia Racing confirmed that the operation at the University Hospital of Sassuolo was successful and that the #72 rider is now in recovery. The team expressed optimism that Bezzecchi could return for the upcoming race at Silverstone, though they will provide a more precise update as his healing progresses.
