Arika Resources has initiated mobilization for a large-scale drilling campaign at its Yundamindra and Kookynie gold projects in Western Australia’s Leonora-Laverton region.
Drilling is scheduled to begin within weeks, prioritizing high-grade targets at the Cosmopolitan, Altona, and Ithaca prospects within Kookynie following technical studies identifying extension opportunities.
Recent geological analysis highlights new drill targets at Kookynie, with ongoing soil sampling to refine exploration efforts.
At Yundamindra, drilling will focus on Pennyweight Point and Landed at Last prospects to build on 14,752m of successful RC drilling conducted mid-year toward a maiden resource estimate.
Soil geochemistry surveys completed at Yundamindra’s Emerald City area will inform upcoming drilling plans later this year.
Metallurgical testing of Yundamindra mineralized material has begun to assess gold recovery potential for future development.
“Arika is entering its most active exploration phase,” stated managing director Justin Barton. “Multiple drilling campaigns across Kookynie and Yundamindra will test proven zones and new targets in the coming months.”
