LORAIN, Ohio — An armed assailant charged at Democratic Ohio gubernatorial nominee Amy Acton at a county fair in Canfield, resulting in injuries to several individuals, authorities and witnesses said.
Acton, who is facing Republican Vivek Ramaswamy in a competitive race for governor, remains a key contender in the traditionally Republican state.
