Arn Anderson holds no ill will toward AEW or Tony Khan after his 2024 departure.

During a June Q&A on his Arn Show podcast, the Four Horsemen member explained that his exit stemmed from Cody Rhodes’ move to WWE, which disrupted his planned storyline role. Pairing with Wardlow proved unsuccessful, leading to his exit.

Anderson praised Khan’s approach, stating, “Tony treated us really well. He’s a class act—used me the best he could in the situation. It was just bad timing.”

He emphasized Khan’s consistent respect for AEW talent:

“You should treat your employer as he has treated you. He doesn’t have to provide first-class hotels or travel—he goes above and beyond.”

Anderson’s son Brock also worked in AEW, describing his introduction as “as good as you could get,” noting strong collaboration with Cody Rhodes.

As Rhodes’ real-life uncle and on-screen advisor, Anderson takes pride in Cody’s career success to date.
