Former Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is scheduled to appear for an arraignment hearing in Tampa on August 13, according to reporting from Fox Sports’ Greg Auman. Arnold is currently facing eight felony counts, including kidnapping and robbery, stemming from his arrest last month.
The Lions released Arnold one day prior to his posting a $1 million bond and his subsequent release from the Hillsborough County jail in Florida. The charges consist of four counts of kidnapping and four counts of armed robbery, offenses that carry the potential for a life sentence upon conviction.
Despite the legal proceedings, Arnold’s agent, Nicole Lynn, testified before a judge on July 10 that the former first-round draft pick has garnered interest from several NFL teams, including the Colts, Jets, Seahawks, and Texans. He remains a free agent as NFL training camps begin to convene.
