According to Bavarian police, the blaze at the alpine resort ignited on Friday evening. Emergency services were alerted at approximately 9:15 PM, with firefighters arriving to find the structure fully ablaze.
“The fire service’s extensive operations are ongoing. No individuals were found inside the Kehlsteinhaus, and no injuries have been reported at this stage,” stated the police force.
Investigators quickly focused on a suspect, who has been arrested. The individual’s potential link to the fire is currently under criminal investigation.
