Arsenal and Chelsea are reportedly prepared to battle for the signature of Monaco striker Paris Brunner during the January transfer window, according to TeamTalk.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a stellar breakout campaign in Ligue 1, registering eight goals in just nine appearances.
His form has attracted interest from both the Gunners and the Blues, with Monaco allegedly open to a sale in January for the right fee.
The French club is navigating financial difficulties and needs to raise funds, potentially through Brunner’s departure at the turn of the year.
Nevertheless, Monaco would prefer to retain him for the remainder of the season and may favor suitors willing to loan him back to the club.
Brunner has moved ahead of Folarin Balogun in Monaco’s pecking order this season and has played a pivotal role in the club’s strong start.
The forward is reportedly valued at approximately £30 million.
