Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur May Miss Out on Marcus Rashford Transfer This Summer
The English forward spent the previous season on loan at Barcelona, where he delivered 14 goals and 14 assists across all competitions.
Barcelona retain an option to buy him for approximately £26 million this summer, though they are seeking to negotiate a lower fee.
Both Arsenal and Tottenham have expressed interest in the 28‑year‑old, but they have been informed that the player wishes to return to Barcelona.
Manchester United have received the same indication from his representatives, suggesting that the club will eventually discuss new payment terms with Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are currently focused on signing a new striker to replace Robert Lewandowski and may revisit Rashford after the World Cup.
Rashford is included in England’s squad for the tournament and could play a pivotal role, potentially starting on the left wing.
