Arteta later reiterated, “He’s going for an MRI this afternoon because he had a lot of fluid in the area so it was difficult to understand the severity of the injury.” “We will know more tomorrow. We need a few more scans and opinions from the specialists.”
Who can replace Bukayo Saka in the Arsenal starting line up?
Arsenal need Saka back quickly, as he has been a key player for the club over recent seasons. The squad does have credible options to cover his absence.

Noni Madueke has looked impressive this season, making him a natural choice to slide into the right‑hand flank. He has also adapted well to playing on the left side when required.
This flexibility could allow Madueke to stay left while giving first‑team minutes to emerging winger Max Dowman, who has shown promise on the right as well.
Ultimately, Arsenal will hope Saka returns promptly, given the concerns fans have about his recent injury history.
